French-Khmer & self-taught artist and tattoist. Most of the time, i use acrylic and oil painting but I also do a lot of digital art for my tattoo projects.
I consider my artworks as a way to express my feminism values throughout Asian women ( Khmer women particularly )and my love for nature.
The 1st painting embodies a khmer woman with a strong and self-confident look, almost defiant, also symbolized by her tattoo that she shows off proudly.
It makes allusion to all khmer women that suffered a lot during and after the war and how fast nowadays she has put herself up with strength and pride.
I have always been inspired by how my mother and my aunts survived from the war and have succeded in life after that.
The 2nd painting illustrated 3 apsara dancers who emphasize the strong symbol of feminism in Cambodia. One of them on the right looks sad or lost in her memories because of the loss of hundreds of traditionnal Khmer dancers during the war. She symbolises the past that we shouldn’t forget.
The 2 others dancers represent the present by the way they look at us. They are more confident, determined and strong, ready to go ahead and never give up.
Apsara dancers is very inspiring for me because they both symbolize Khmer culture and feminism in all its glory.

ខ្ញុំចាត់ទុកការងារសិល្បៈរបស់ខ្ញុំជាមធ្យោបាយមួយដើម្បីបង្ហាញពីតម្លៃរបស់ស្ត្រីទូទាំងអាស៊ី(ជាពិសេសស្ត្រីខ្មែរ) និងការស្រឡាញ់ធម្មជាតិរបស់ខ្ញុំ។
ផ្ទាំងគំនូរទី ១ បង្កប់ដោយនារីខ្មែរដែលមានរូបរាងរឹងមាំនិងមានទំនុកចិត្តលើខ្លួនឯងស្ទើរតែមិនចេះរីងស្ងួតក៏ជានិមិត្តរូបដោយស្នាមសាក់របស់នាងដែលនាងបង្ហាញដោយមោទនភាពវាធ្វើឱ្យមានការភាន់ច្រឡំដល់ស្ត្រីខ្មែរទាំងអស់ដែលបានរងគ្រោះខ្លាំងក្នុងអំឡុងនិងក្រោយសង្គ្រាម ថាតើបច្ចុប្បន្ននេះនាងមានកម្លាំងចិត្តនិងមោទនភាពចំពោះខ្លួនយ៉ាងណា។
ខ្ញុំតែងតែនិយាយពីរបៀបដែលម្ដាយនិងមីងរបស់ខ្ញុំបានរួចផុតពីសង្គ្រាមហើយបានទទួលជោគជ័យក្នុងជីវិតបន្ទាប់ពីសង្គ្រាម។
ផ្ទាំងគំនូរទី ២ បង្ហាញពីអ្នករបាំអប្សរា ៣ នាក់ដែលសង្កត់ធ្ងន់លើនិមិត្តរូបដ៏រឹងមាំនៃភាពជាស្ត្រីនៅកម្ពុជា។ ម្នាក់ក្នុងចំណោមពួកគេនៅខាងស្តាំមើលទៅគួរអោយសោកស្តាយ,សោកសៅរឺក៏បាត់បង់អ្វីមួយនៅក្នុងការចងចាំរបស់នាងដោយសារតែការបាត់បង់អ្នករបាំប្រពៃណីខ្មែររាប់រយនាក់ក្នុងកំឡុងពេលសង្គ្រាម។ នាងជានិមិត្តរូបនៃអតីតកាលដែលយើងមិនគួរភ្លេច។
អ្នករបាំ ២ នាក់ទៀតតំណាងឱ្យបច្ចុប្បន្នដោយរបៀបដែលពួកគេមើលមកយើង។ ពួកគេកាន់តែមានទំនុកចិត្តការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តនិងរឹងមាំត្រៀមខ្លួនទៅមុខហើយមិនបោះបង់ចោល។
អ្នករបាំអប្សរាជាមានកម្លាំងចិត្តសម្រាប់ខ្ញុំខ្លាំងណាស់ព្រោះពួកគេជានិមិត្តរូបនៃវប្បធម៌និងភាពជាស្ត្រីរបស់ខ្មែរនៅក្នុងភាពរុងរឿង។
